As the Laundry Service Lead Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, service assignments and repairs on a variety of laundry and environmental equipment to assure safe operation of equipment.
You will report to the Laundry Operations Senior Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1.
You will perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.
2.
Manage performance of all Laundry Technicians.
Enforce all work rules, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.
3.
Assist Director of Laundry Operations with the creation of budget.
4.
Update all standard operating procedures, training programs, and job descriptions when needed.
5.
Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
6.
Manage time and resources, to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and meet time-to-repair commitments.
7.
Determine and order material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
8.
Use knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to perform repairs ranging from routine to more complex to support industrial sized Laundry.
9.
Communicate with internal customers on repair status.
10.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Willingness to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
Must be responsible, operate, demonstrate initiate, and display a sense of responsibility.
